A FEW OF NSSA’s ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Since August 2014, 65 after-school, weekend, and summer programs
2,200 of 8,000 students; 3rd through 12th graders
85% student return rate for additional courses
2019/2020: 4th year of Continuing STEM Engagement Program—the same 25 students
2017/2018: $10K Science of Success Sponsorships awarded to several students to secure their Pilot’s License
Summer 2014: NSSA’s first two-week summer program, delivered to 27 seventh graders
Summer 2018: 5th year of our Summer STEM Camp Program, delivered to 130 students, summer
2019: 6th year of our Summer STEM Camp Program, delivered to 165 students
Summer 2018 & 2019: A dozen high-school seniors, all participants in prior NSSA programs, served as paid interns/Teacher Assistants for our Summer STEM Camp Programs
Summer 2020: Aligned with the ongoing issues associated with COVID-19, the NSSA delivered our first virtual camp. Two one-week programs to two groups of forty students-4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th
